Coaching with Dom

At The Leader’s Edge, we help leaders become aware of the unconscious patterns that drive stress, conflict, and disconnection and learn to lead from presence, curiosity, and responsibility instead.

I love this work because the things we look at and the principles we play with can ripple out into all areas of life. Our clients don't just become better leaders. They become better partners, parents and friends.

So, even if you don’t own a business, lead a team or carry a title, if you’re committed to growth, I’m here to support you.

This guide is designed to support your decision about engaging in this work together.

It outlines what coaching is all about, how it works and what you can expect from the process.

It’s simply here so you have everything you need to make an informed decision. If you have any questions about any of it, please don’t hesitate to ask.

What Coaching Is (and Isn’t)

Coaching is a confidential partnership that supports your self-discovery, growth, and capacity to create meaningful change in your life. It is a thought-provoking and creative process designed to help you uncover your own insights rather than being given answers.

Coaching treats you as capable, resourceful, and the expert in your own experience. Together, we explore what matters most to you, identify what gets in the way, and clarify the direction you want to move in. The work focuses on your goals, your values, and your ability to take aligned action.

The purpose of coaching is to help you recognize your strengths, shift old perspectives, and grow into your potential with clarity and confidence.

Coaching is not therapy. Therapy focuses on healing, diagnosis, and unresolved experiences from the past. Coaching is oriented toward the present and the future, and toward how you want to relate to your life going forward.

Coaching is not advice. You won’t be told what to do or how to live your life. Instead, the process helps you uncover your own answers and choose actions that align with your values.

Coaching is not a place to vent without taking ownership. You are welcome to bring whatever is happening in your life, but we will look at your part in the experience and what you want to shift.

Coaching is not a quick fix or a passive process. Insight is valuable, but real change comes from your willingness to stay engaged, practice new approaches, and take responsibility for your growth.

Coaching works best for people who want to look at themselves honestly, act with intention, and create meaningful change in their work, relationships, and personal life.

How It Works

Our coaching methodology is based on three core principles:

Self-awareness

We start by slowing things down so you can see what is actually happening inside you. Your reactions. Your emotions. The stories you tell yourself. The assumptions you carry. When you can see your inner world more clearly, things that once felt automatic start to loosen.

Responsibility

From there, we look at your part in the experiences you are having. Not in a blaming way, but in an empowering way. Responsibility gives you choice. It helps you shift from reacting out of habit to responding with intention. This is where real change begins.

Integrity

As your awareness grows and you begin taking responsibility for your experience, you naturally move toward living in alignment with what you value. You communicate more honestly. You follow through on what matters. You build trust with yourself and the people around you.

These practices build on each other. Over time, you become more grounded, more clear, and more capable of navigating challenges in a way that feels aligned with your values.

What You Can Expect

As you work with these practices, certain shifts tend to happen.

You start noticing your reactions sooner and with less judgment. You understand yourself more clearly. The situations that used to overwhelm you feel more manageable because you can see what is actually happening instead of getting swept up in it.

You communicate more directly. You ask for what you need. You hold boundaries with more confidence. You become less reactive and more steady in moments that once felt tense or triggering.

Your relationships often change too. When you show up with honesty and presence, people feel it. Conversations become clearer. Conflict becomes easier to navigate. Trust grows.

Practically, you can expect our conversations to be focused, honest, and grounded in what is happening in your life right now. We will explore real situations, look at what is driving your reactions, and work with the tools that help you show up in a way that aligns with what matters to you.

This work can be uncomfortable at times because it asks you to look at the parts of yourself you usually avoid. But for many people, it becomes some of the most meaningful work they ever do. They feel more like themselves. They feel more capable. They feel more alive.

Nitty Gritty

The investment is $600 per month.

We will meet every two weeks for a 60 minute coaching session. Between sessions, you have a steady container to practice, reflect, and apply the work in your life.

Sessions can be held on Zoom or over the phone. Each option has its benefits.

Zoom allows us to see each other. Some people find that facial expressions, posture, and presence add another layer of clarity. For many, it feels grounding to be “in the room” together, even through a screen.

Phone offers something different. Without visual cues, some people discover they drop more easily into themselves. For certain clients, the simplicity of hearing and being heard becomes a kind of spaciousness that makes inner work easier. It can feel more private, more intimate, and less performative.

No contracts. You are welcome to continue for as long as the work is supporting you, and you are free to end at any point.

When my clients decide to stop working with me, it’s usually because something real has shifted for them and they no longer need the support in the same way.

Accessible Pricing

I love working with people who are committed to growth and eager to put in the work and its unfortunate when cost becomes a barrier.

As such, I keep a limited number of accessible-pricing spots for clients who feel the work is right for them but cannot afford the full rate.

If cost is the only barrier, let me know. Space-permitting, we’ll figure out an arrangement that works for your situation.

Hopefully at this point, you have a sense of whether this is the right time to begin. If this feels like a step you want to take, I will meet you with honesty, respect, and genuine interest in your growth.

If not, trust yourself. You know what you need.

Sincerely,

Dom

Working with Dom was truly a game changer for my leadership skills. After just a few sessions Dom began to understand me and that’s when the “aha!” moments started to pile up. Learning so much about myself in just a few short months was absolutely monumental to me and my team’s productivity.

Dominic is an incredibly insightful guy. He lent his perspective on things that I was struggling to really flesh out and allowed me to develop focal points in my goals for myself. He’s dynamic in his thinking and very good at coming up with thoughtful responses on the fly that keep the conversation going and keep it constructive. I would recommend this [work] to anyone wanting to learn a lot about themselves and their leadership goals.
