Creating a Great Workplace

The Leader's Edge Leadership Fundamentals is a 3-part development series designed to provide individuals with essential self-assessment skills and performance development techniques to establish a culture of continual improvement both personally and professionally.

Understanding Performance - The Power of Self-Knowledge

The Leader's Edge Leadership Fundamentals series offers the tools to help identify people's specific strengths and development needs. When individuals take ownership of their current performance, both what they do well and areas that could be improved, they are motivated to improve future performance.

Developing a team with the skills to identify and understand their own current performance will allow you to maintain a workforce of high achievers to ensure your organization reaches its business objectives.

Leadership Fundamentals: Phase I

The Process:
Step 1 - Pre-Assessment of participant leadership behaviors
Step 2 - Structured 3.5hr workshop
Step 3 - One-on-one coaching sessions to reinforce, remind and support new behaviors
Step 4 - Post assessment of participant leadership behaviors

The Outcome:
Participants in Phase I learn to identify and capitalize on their leadership strengths. Past Phase I participants report feeling inspired and energized after completing the process. Receiving feedback from co-workers and support from individualized coaching unleashes a passion and desire to contribute and to succeed.

Leadership Fundamentals: Phase II

The Process:
Step 1 - A series of 6 one hour mini-workshops intended to reinforce each of the 5 "Leadership Principles."
Step 2 - 3 follow-up coaching sessions to each mini-workshop. The personal one-on-one coaching sessions are designed to reinforce the content of each mini-workshop.

The Outcome:
Leadership Fundamentals Phase II helps individuals maintain a positive focus and provides the tools to effectively deal with the challenges of a growing organization. Former Phase II participants report feeling more fulfilled and empowered in their job after achieving a deeper understanding of the 5 Key Leadership Principles introduced in Phase I.

Leadership Fundamentals: Phase III

At Leader's Edge we firmly believe that continuous attention is critical to maintaining momentum, accountability and focus on effective Leadership Fundamentals.

Leadership Fundamentals Phase III offers an ongoing support program intended to build on the previous phases and support further growth for individuals and the entire organization. The focus of Phase III is developed with input from the organization or is customized to suit your needs.

"Rosemary Cannon is a wonderful leadership coach and I recommend her to any person who is interested in receiving leadership training. The most valuable part of my learning experience with her was the detailed advice she provided about conflict resolution. She was easy to talk to and provided clear handouts on the subjects we discussed. The results from working with Rosemary have been phenomenal: I now have more responsibilities at work that I enjoy doing, I have effectively dealt with office conflicts, and I received a raise and am now on salary.  I have more confidence in the workplace and feel I am ready to approach any situation. Thank you, Leaders Edge for your help" - Veronica Rutherford, Sector Learning Solutions Inc.
