NONVIOLENT COMMUNICATION - Series of Six

Nonviolent Communication

Communication and conflict resolution training helps individuals and organizations who wish to build and sustain harmonious and respectful relationships. Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a communication process developed by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg, author and International Peacemaker. The process is specifically designed to help people raise the bar in their communication and achieve increased levels of synergistic rapport and collaboration both personally and professionally on a more consistent level.

Since the goals and objectives of your group are unique, the training for this program is adapted to satisfy the requirements specific to you which may also include mediation and conflict resolution.

The Process:

The Series of Six provides a series of six 2-hour sessions that affords participants the opportunity to digest the information in bite size chunks and practice applying it over a period of 2 to 3 months.

The Outcome:

All participants will:

  • Come away with a greater conceptual and practical understanding of the NVC model
  • Experience important aha or breakthrough moments pertaining to conflict
  • Learn listening skills to facilitate effective connection
  • Learn the dynamics of empathy including identifying blocks to empathy
  • Learn self-empathy skills
  • Learn how to address anger productively
  • Learn to express authentic appreciation
  • Receive written and interactive exercises
